The Veterans Trust, in partnership with FARA USA, Nicodemus, Joe Heck Racing, Bupp Motorsports, Ryder and dozens of other contributors, hosted the 5th TVT Race Experience on September 10th and 11th, 2016 to commemorate, honor and celebrate Americans that were effected and influenced by the events on Sept 11, 2001. Hundreds of rides were given, theTHE VETERANS TRUST RACE EXPERIENCE WEEKEND 1st Veterans Trust Cup Race was launched, The All-Veteran Parachute Team descended from the sky during the playing of the National Anthem, and many more exciting events took place throughout the 2-day weekend. The Veterans Trust was presented a Proclamation, named September 11, 2016 (the 15th year since the original attacks), “The Veterans Trust Day” in Miami-Dade County.

The Veterans Trust also presented a $7,500 grant to Nicodemus, a Veteran non-profit dedicated to enriching the lives of other veterans. Collaboratively, we will continue to bring together thousands of race car fans, military, veterans and their families for amazing weekends to enjoy in the South Florida area.

Additionally, United Way’s Mission United provided a comprehensive array of free services at a single, easy-to-locate destination. Veterans can obtain service in the areas of education, legal, mentorship, financial aid, housing, career development, service animals, mental health and many more.
