Fred Roger served on active duty in the United States Marine Corps from 2002-2007 and rose to the rank of Sergeant. After numerous commendations and awards from the Marines, Fred attended and graduated from Nova Southeastern University’s H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship. As a top graduate of the business school, he was also an active member of the International Franchise Institute and currently an active advisor for NSU’s Student Veteran Association. He has also been a distinguished speaker and a judge for several NSU sponsored events. Mr. Roger holds a BS degree in Business Administration and Marketing and an M.B.A. degree with a concentration in entrepreneurship.
Since its business inception in 2010, Fred has worked with Dr. G’s Weight Loss & Wellness Franchising Companies building the organization as the Director of Training and Product Development. Before his post with Dr. G’s Franchising Companies, he partook in a hi-tech startup company serving the medical field. His role in this startup added to his technical, administrative, and educational background, which has enabled him to effectively prepare franchisees to open and operate their centers successfully. Mr. Roger has successfully opened and supported over 20 Dr. G’s Weight Loss & Wellness centers before separating from the franchisor.
Currently, Fred serves as the Executive Director of The Veterans Trust, a strategic grant making organization dedicated to finding and funding best practices in the veteran space, and the Managing Director of a consulting firm which provides business and other organizations management, leadership, strategy, HR, marketing, and franchise support. Additionally, Mr. Roger is a partner in 2 local Dr. G’s Weight Loss & Wellness franchise centers, and the Co-Founder and Chairman of the HELO Foundation, which is a diverse group of veterans that have expertise in leadership, marketing, operations, and a variety of other fields.
